When Lynne Woods drives past housing developments on Glen Road in Potomac she sees past the brick colonials dotting the landscape to how the land once looked, not so long ago.
‘‘I see houses where I used to gallop horses, before the developers came in,” said Woods, director of the equestrian program at the Butler School in Darnestown.
