We know you love the equestrian heritage and rural character of Montgomery County, Maryland. EPIC Montgomery is here to help preserve that and to provide continued access to equestrian trails and open space. Your membership in EPIC helps us provide these valuable services to you and your family:

• Protect Montgomery County’s 93,000-acre Agricultural Reserve.
• Educate the public about the value of the Ag Reserve.
• Unify Montgomery County’s equestrian community and participating farmers, conservation and outdoor groups to conserve land for equestrian purposes and increase equestrian access to private and public lands.
• Work with landowners, developers and county government to establish trail agreements and easements toward the establishment of a well-mapped and well-maintained countywide equestrian trail system.
• Identify land available for conservation acquisition by private individuals, organizations and county, state and federal acquisition programs.
• Provide careful oversight of county programs and zoning.
