Dry Seneca Trail

The northern terminus of the Dry Seneca Trail lies behind Harkaway Stables on Partnership Road. The Trail follows the stream for 5 miles crossing Sugarland Road and continuing on to the southern terminus on Montevideo Road across from Seneca State Park. The Trail is marked with numbered sign patches on posts numbered from one to forty-two. There is no public trailhead yet but there is room for a couple of trailers on Sugarland Road at the trail crossing and also on Old River Road, near Pooles Store. The public is welcome to visit as long as they stay on posted paths. An EPIC guide is available on request. The terrain is gently rolling with a few hills and stream crossings and many scenic views of the stream and agricultural fields. Riding the trail round trip at a moderate pace should take about 3 hours.
