North Branch Trail and Kengla Trail


The North Branch Trail and Kengla Trail in the North Branch Stream Valley consists of hard surface and natural surface sections. It makes up a significant part of the 13-mile Mid-County Loop trail system. From Muncaster Mill Road north, the natural surface trail is named Kengla Trail before returning to the North Branch Trail name.

Use: Hiking, Biking, Equestrian

Surface: Hard Surface and Natural

More Info: Gently rolling, but hilly and steep in sections; includes several crossing of steep drainages currently awaiting bridges. Road crossings are currently unmarked, for the most part. Path is blazed with blue markers on trees.
