Announcing Two New Future Trails

EPIC is excited to announce that it is in the process of planning and developing two new trails as part of its Breezy Loop Trail Complex.

The first trail will be in the large wooded area to the west of White Ground Road. This will be named the Kay Family Trail in honor of the Kay Family Foundation which has been a great supporter of EPIC over the years.

The second trail will be a large loop around the edge of the farm fields south of the railroad tracks.  It will start from one part of the Gilliam Farm Trail and loop around the large farm fields west of White Ground Road and eventually hook up with another part of the Gilliam Farm Trail. It will be called Mike’s Loop in honor of our founder Mike Rubin.

Our president Allan Noble is spearheading the planning and development of these new trails. We are looking for volunteers experienced in digitized and reactive GPS mapping to help us with this project. If anyone wishes to volunteer for this project please email Allan. Eventually we hope to redevelop the maps for all our trails so that they are interactive and user-friendly.
