Bucklodge Conservation Park Trails


Bucklodge Conservation Park provides opportunities for quiet enjoyment of the natural environment. The park sits on approximately 215 acres of land in the northwest section of Montgomery County, near Barnesville, MD, and features over 2 miles of natural surface trail. 

Unless noted otherwise on the map, trails marked “Natural Surface” and “Hard Surface” are “Shared by All” trails which includes hikers, bikers and equestrians.

Use: Hiking, Biking, Equestrian

Length: Over 2 miles of natural surface trails.

More Info: This park is located in the Upcounty west of Clarksburg, just northwest of Black Hill Regional Park. The Bucklodge loop trail is mostly rolling terrain and all the trails are open to all users.

Water & Restrooms: Drinking water and restrooms are not available.

Parking: Parking and horse trailer parking is on Slidell Road.
