Support EPIC at Saturday’s Green Cup of Polo

The 8th annual Green Cup of Polo will take place this Saturday, September 6, at the Capitol Polo Club in Poolesville, Maryland. This exciting event raises funds and awareness for several environmental and alternate energy organizations, including Equestrian Partners in Conservation.

The featured event is a match between Team USA and the visiting Team Pakistan. General admission is FREE! Tickets are available for VIP Grandstand and Tailgating passes. More info at www.greencuppolo.com.

Green Cup Polo is a benefit charity event aimed at bringing Washingtonians, corporate leaders, environmentalists, NGOs, and the Washington diplomatic corps together to network and demonstrate their commitment to protecting the environment and fight climate change. The event is the first-ever certified ‘green’ sporting event in the country supported by local, national and international businesses. Funding raised will go to support our key global beneficiaries and this year will include our long-term beneficiary Equestrian Partners in Conservation (EPIC) as well as KIDSAVE, a non-profit organization that works to create change so older forgotten orphanage and foster kids grow up in families and connected to caring adults.

This year we are honored to have the UK Trade Investment, British Embassy launch its support behind The Green Cup Polo. The British Embassy and Green Cup Polo share the same mission to raise awareness and work to solve the most pressing environmental issues we face today: curbing global warming and promoting sustainable responsible measures as well as getting toxic chemicals out of the environment.

It is a perfect opportunity to join our metropolitan community from VA, DC and MD in our united efforts to protect the planet and make it a safer and cleaner place for our future generations. The event will be a fun and exciting day for all with two action-packed Polo matches, equestrian performance, live music, and divot stomping – all for a great cause.
