EPIC July 19 Trail Ride Recap

On the morning of July 19, EPIC members and friends gathered for a beautiful summer ride through the wooded trails and open fields that make the Breezy Loop Complex so special. With clear skies, fresh trails, and plenty of good company, it was everything we could hope for in a group outing.

From the moment riders arrived, there was a strong sense of camaraderie and shared appreciation for the land. Some brought seasoned trail horses, others were newer to EPIC, but everyone came with enthusiasm and respect for the open space we work so hard to protect.

Our Trails are Open Year-Round

If you missed this ride, you can still explore EPIC’s two public trail systems—Breezy Loop Complex and Dry Seneca—anytime. Both are open year-round and free to ride. You can find maps and details at EPICMontgomery.org. We ask that all riders practice Leave-No-Trace and report any issues you spot on trail so we can continue keeping them safe and enjoyable for everyone. If you see any problems on the trails, let us know.

A Snapshot of the Day

Photographer and EPIC member Kathy Noble graciously captured the day in photos. View a few of them here on our website. If you share any of these photos on social media, please tag EPIC and help us spread the word about equestrian access to local trails!

More Rides Coming

We’re already planning our next ride—so stay tuned! EPIC is committed to growing the equestrian trail network in Montgomery County, and group rides like this one are a great way to build community, showcase the trails, and enjoy the beauty of our rural lands together. Keep an eye on your email and the website for updates.
